Wooden Box, 45 MinutesI was playing with light and dark in this picture and using a medium that i have never found particulary easy, charcoal. I've always found it messy and difficult to control, I much prefer colouring pencils for neatness and cleanliness. I find the drawing a day is encouraging me to experiment with different media as there is not the big commitment to a long and key piece of work. I think it worked out well enough, it looks a bit wonky, but the light and shade and use of the qualities of the media is quite interesting.
